Investments
Investments that serve your plan, not the other way around.
Investing well isn't about chasing the next big thing. It's about building a sensible portfolio that supports the life you want, with a level of risk you're genuinely comfortable with, and keeping it on track as things change.
Questions we'll work through together
- How much investment risk do we need to take to reach our goals, and how much are we comfortable with?
- How should our investments be spread across shares, property, bonds and cash?
- Should we invest inside super, in our own names, or through another structure?
- How do we turn our investments into a reliable income in retirement?
- What should we do, or not do, when markets become volatile?
Built around your plan
Your portfolio should follow from your plan: what you'll spend, when you'll need the money and how long it has to last. I start there, then recommend an investment mix and structure to match, drawing on independent research rather than any product provider's range.
Steady hands when markets move
Markets will always have their ups and downs, and it's natural to feel uneasy when they fall. Part of my role is helping you keep a clear head, review whether anything genuinely needs to change, and avoid decisions you might regret later.
No products to push
Because I don't accept commissions or other payments from product providers, my only interest is in recommending what suits you. That sometimes means keeping things simple, or holding more cash than you might expect, and that's fine with me.
